My name is Mishal Charania (meh-shell Cha-rah-nii-ahh) and I am currently a Sophomore studying Sport Management, with minors in writing & social media analysis and design. I love being busy and supporting my communities so here are my current positions:

• I am currently serving as the DEI co-chair (soon to be secretary) for UMich's chapter of Phi Sigma Pi National Honors Fraternity

• I am the Managing Editor for The Michiganensian Yearbook (soon to be Editor-in-Chief)

• I am a Communications, social media, and PR intern for Michigan Athletics

• I am a residential adviser

• A penpal to a fifth grader through K-Grams 

• After being in the Development Summer Internship Program last summer, I am their media assistant. 

• And finally a Marketing Assistant for Graham Sustainability Institute

 

My dream job is to be a social media/marketing manager for Duolingo or for the Pheonix Suns, but am open to so many possibilities for the future! I am originally from Ann Arbor, but love traveling (my favorite recent place was going to San Francisco for the first time)! I will be visiting Boston and (hopefully) Seattle this summer in addition to being a social media intern! This summer I will be returning to the Michigan Interscholastic Press Association's Summer workshop to teach the social media journalism class (this year will be my 6th year attending (3 years as a participant and 3 as a student-teacher/teacher).
